METALLICA's Concert At Belgium's PUKKELPOP Attended By 57,000 People

According to Expatica.com, 57,000 people watched METALLICA's performance this past Friday (August 15) at the 23rd Pukkelpop music festival in the village of Kiewit, near Hasselt (Limburg province),Belgium.

A record 150,000 music-lovers attended the three-day festival of alternative music which saw 200 bands performed on a total of eight separate stages.

According to the organizers, 45,000 people attended the festival on its opening day on Thursday, and 48,000 people attended the festival on Saturday.

The fine weather over the past few days no doubt served to boost the number of people attending the Pukkelpop festival.

In 2007, around 130,000 people attended the festival.
